Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1st round of the 1974 NFL Draft, Lynn Swan played his entire career in a Steelers uniform from 1974-1982. As a rookie, Lynn Swan led the NFL with 577 punt return yards, which was a franchise record and the fourth most in NFL history at the time. He then led the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Super Bowl championship that year. The first of 4 Super Bowl rings he would win with them during the 1970's. During Super Bowl X, Lynn recorded 4 catches for a Super Bowl record 161 yards and a touchdown in the game, capturing Super Bowl X MVP honors. In 4 Super Bowls, Lynn Swan gained 364 receiving yards and 398 all-purpose yards, which at the time were both Super Bowl records. Named to the NFL 1970's All-Decade Team, as a standout wide receiver with Pittsburgh, Lynn was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
