It took Don only 97 pitches to complete his perfect game. He was named the World Series MVP, and won the 1956 Babe Ruth Award. Don Larsen was a 2x World Series Champion with the New York Yankees, winning a World Series ring in 1956 and again in 1958. Don won a combined 4 World Series victories in 10 appearances with a 2.75 ERA.
