After starting as quarterback for Ole Miss in college, The New Orleans Saints drafted Archie Manning in the 1st round of the 1971 NFL Draft with the 2nd overall pick. Archie then went on to play with the Saints until 1982. Archie went to play in 2 Pro Bowls, and in 1978, was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Year. Archie threw 125 touchdowns and 23,911 yards during his career. He is the father of 2 pretty good quarterbacks in the NFL today, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning.
