Al Oliver enjoyed an 18 year career in The Major Leagues, breaking into the Majors in 1968 with The Pittsburgh Pirates. He helped the Pirates in the 1971 World Series, and was a 7x All-Star and a 3x Silver Slugger award winner. He hit the last ever homerun at Forbes Field in 1970 and had the 1st ever RBI at Three Rivers Stadium that same year. Al finished his career with a .303 batting average, 2,743 hits, 219 homeruns and 1,326 RBIs.
