Tommy Morrison had a very successful career as a heavyweight boxer, and is a former World Boxing Organization Champion. Tommy fought in 52 total fights, winning 48 of them and having 1 draw. 42 of his wins were by KO. In 1980, Tommy won the Junior Olympics title as an amateur boxer, and by 1988, his amateur fights totaled 242, and he won 222, by knockout. Tommy is nicknamed "The Duke", as he is the grand nephew of Holly Wood Legend, John Wayne. In 1990, Tommy Morrison starred in Rocky V as Rockey's oppenent, Tommy Gun.
