Johnny Unitas, known as the Golden Arm, was selected to 10 Pro Bowls and was Pro Bowl MVP three times. He led the Baltimore Colts to the NFL Championship in 1958 in the first overtime game in NFL history, which was later referred to as "the greatest game ever played" Unitas played 17 seasons in the NFL from 1955-1973, and was the first player ever to throw for more than 40,000 yards. Considered one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game he as the NFL's MVP in 1959, 1964, and 1967. He threw a record 47 consecutive games between 1956-1960 in which he threw a touchdown pass, a record that still stands today. In 1979, Johnny Unitas was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
