With the Longhorns, Daniel scored 935 points, including 175 3-point field goals. Daniel became the 1st freshman in school history to lead Texas in scoring and he was named The Big 12 Freshman of the Year. As a rookie with Cleveland, during the 2007 Eastern Conference finals game 7 game, Daniel scored a career high 31 points, which were the most points scored by a rookie in a series-clinching franchise history. Currently, he ranks 11th all-time in 3 pointers made by a Cavalier after only 3 seasons.
